Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AS Tech Sol Ltd ("AS Tech Sol", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use the AS Tech Sol CRM platform and related websites and applications (together, the "Service"). AS Tech Sol Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed about our own users; where the Service is used by our business customers to manage their own contacts, we act as a data processor on their behalf.
1. Who we are
AS Tech Sol Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. If you have any questions about this policy or your personal data, contact us at enquiries@astechsol.co.uk.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, password (stored hashed), role and workspace settings.
- Business and customer data — information our users enter into the Service, such as leads, contacts, accounts, quotes, invoices, appointments, jobs and documents.
- Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser type, pages viewed and actions taken, used to operate and secure the Service.
- Communications — messages, emails and support requests you send to us.
- Cookies — strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security (see section 8).
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and improve the Service;
- To authenticate users and keep accounts secure;
- To process transactions, scheduling, dispatch, invoicing and reporting;
- To send service-related communications and notifications;
- To provide customer support and respond to enquiries; and
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.
Our legal bases for processing are the performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent (where required), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Third-party services and integrations
The Service integrates with third-party providers to deliver features you choose to enable. These may include cloud hosting and storage, email delivery, payment processing, messaging/telephony, and analytics platforms such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics. When you connect such an integration, data is shared with that provider only as needed to provide the feature, and that provider's own privacy terms also apply.
5. Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure
Where you connect Google accounts or services (for example, Google Search Console or Google Analytics), our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We only request access to the data needed to provide the features you enable;
- We use Google user data solely to provide and improve those user-facing features within the Service;
- We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising;
- We do not transfer Google user data except as necessary to provide the Service, comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with appropriate safeguards; and
- We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymised.
You can revoke our access at any time via your Google Account security settings or by contacting us.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with: (a) service providers who process data on our behalf under contract; (b) authorities where required by law; and (c) parties to a business transfer, subject to this policy. Where our business customers control the data, we share it only as instructed by them.
7. Data retention and security
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised. We use technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and hashed credentials — to protect data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the Service against abuse. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling necessary cookies may prevent you from using the Service.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at enquiries@astechsol.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). If your data is controlled by one of our business customers, please direct requests to them.
10. Children
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may be notified within the Service.
